Eligibility Criteria
Applicants who want to apply for the KTET February 2026 need to meet the given below eligibility criteria
- To apply for category I (LP Classes 1–5) under KTET, applicants must have passed higher secondary or plus two with a minimum of 50% marks and have a 2-year D.El.Ed or equivalent or 4-year B.El.Ed
- To apply for category II (UP Classes 6–8), applicants must have graduated with at least 45% marks and have a 2-year D.El.Ed or equivalent or B.Ed
- To apply for category III (High School Classes 9–10), applicants must have graduated or post graduated in the relevant subject with at least 45% marks and B.Ed in the concerned subject from a recognized institution
- To apply for Category IV (Language Teachers), applicants must have graduated with the language subject as the main discipline and must have passed the Language Teachers’ Training Examination or hold a B.Ed in the respective language
